About the role

This is a radio On-Air Personality (OAP) role at Femywalsh Limited, open specifically to NYSC corps members. As an OAP you will host and deliver engaging radio programmes that inform, entertain and connect with listeners — researching programme content, conducting interviews, interacting with audiences, managing discussions and ensuring all broadcasts reflect the station's editorial guidelines and brand identity.

A typical day in this role involves preparing for your show: researching topics, scripting segments, booking and interviewing guests, then going on air to present. After the show you may edit content for digital platforms, respond to listener feedback, and plan upcoming programmes with the production team. It is a creative, fast-paced environment where your voice, research and spontaneity are your main tools.

Candidates must be NYSC corps members currently serving. You need a degree or HND in Mass Communication, Journalism, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Film/Media Production, Computer Science, Graphic Design or a related discipline. Basic knowledge of media and communication tools, good communication, teamwork and professionalism are required, and ICT/Tech skills are an added advantage. The published salary is N50,000 to N70,000 per month.

Requirements

• Must be a NYSC Corps Member currently undergoing the mandatory national service programme
• Degree/HND in Mass Communication, Journalism, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Film/Media Production, Computer Science, Graphic Design or a related discipline
• Basic knowledge of relevant media, communication or digital tools (advantage)
• Previous work experience, school projects, freelance or volunteer experience (added advantage)
• Willingness to learn, professionalism, discipline and adaptability
• Good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• ICT/Tech skills (added advantage)
