🏢 Global Rainbowbird Partners (recruiter) — client in dehydrated food production · 📍 Lagos
Not stated
This is a Packaging Supervisor role at a dehydrated food production company in Lagos. As the packaging supervisor, you will oversee packaging operations, packaging staff, product presentation, stock usage and packaging quality — the final stage of production where products are weighed, packed, sealed, labelled and made ready for the market.
In a typical day you will assign packaging tasks to staff, monitor packaging output and quality, ensure products are packed correctly (weights, seals, labels), manage packaging material usage to prevent waste, check stock levels of packaging materials, enforce hygiene and safety standards, maintain records, and report to management. Packaging quality in food production is critical — a badly sealed pack means spoiled product and a damaged brand.
The employer requires 'relevant and provable practical experience' and will ask you to demonstrate competence during selection. The ideal candidate is experienced, honest, hardworking, safety and quality conscious, a team player, results-oriented and available for immediate resumption. Accommodation is not provided. The closing date is 30 September 2026.
Who this job is for: packaging supervisors, line supervisors and experienced production staff with packaging experience — including candidates without degrees who can prove their skills. Before applying, be ready to demonstrate how you have supervised packaging lines, managed materials and maintained quality.
